This is a front shock absorber strut for the Mercedes-Benz W204 C-Class, part number A2043232600. The same part fits the left and right side. It controls how the front springs move, keeping the tyres pressed onto the road over bumps and stopping the front of the car from bouncing, diving under braking or leaning in corners. Kenyan roads are hard on shock absorbers. Potholes, speed bumps and rough murram roads wear them out much faster than the smooth roads they're designed for. Worn front shocks usually show up as a knocking or clunking from the front over bumps, the car bouncing more than once after a speed bump, the nose diving hard when you brake, a floaty or unsettled feel at highway speed, or oil leaking down the body of the shock. Worn shocks also make the tyres wear unevenly and add to your stopping distance. Always replace front shock absorbers in pairs, both left and right together, so the car handles evenly. It's also a good time to check the top mounts and bump stops, which wear out alongside the shocks. Compatibility: this shock absorber fits the front axle, left or right side, of the Mercedes-Benz W204 C-Class, including: C-Class W204 saloon (C180, C200, C220 CDI, C250, C300, C350), 2007 to 2014 C-Class S204 estate, 2007 to 2014 The W204 was built with several different front suspension setups (standard, sport/lowered, Agility Control and 4MATIC all-wheel drive), and each uses its own shock absorber. Check the part number on your old shock absorber, or send us your VIN on WhatsApp and we'll confirm the right one before you buy. This part does not fit the C63 AMG. Have a suspension specialist or mechanic fit it. The car needs to be safely supported, and the spring has to be handled carefully with the right tools. After fitting, get a wheel alignment done to protect your tyres. Part numbers: A2043232600, 2043232600, A 204 323 26 00, 204 323 26 00 64. Type: front shock absorber strut, left or right.
