Fuel Hose to High Pressure Fuel Pump for Mercedes-Benz M274 Engine (A2740703500)

This is the fuel hose that carries petrol to the high-pressure fuel pump on Mercedes-Benz cars with the M274 four-cylinder turbo petrol engine. The pump sits on top of the engine and raises the fuel pressure for direct injection, and this hose is what feeds it. It's part number A2740703500. It's not the steel high-pressure line that runs from the pump to the injectors. This is the hose that feeds fuel into the pump. Rubber fuel hoses on top of a hot turbo engine harden and crack with age. The usual sign is a smell of petrol in or around the car, especially after a drive, and sometimes damp patches or fuel stains on the hose or the engine below it. You might also get hard starting or a fuel pressure fault on the dashboard. Don't keep driving with a fuel leak. Petrol dripping onto a hot engine is a fire risk, so replace the hose as soon as you notice it. Compatibility: this hose fits Mercedes-Benz models with the M274 engine, both the 1.6 litre (engine code 274.910) and 2.0 litre (engine code 274.920). That includes: C-Class W204 facelift (C180, C200, C250, about 2013 to 2014) C-Class W205 (C180, C200, C300, from 2014) E-Class W212 (E200, E250) and W213 (E200, E300) GLK X204 (GLK 250) GLC X253 (GLC 250, GLC 300) SLK / SLC R172 (SLK 200, SLK 250, SLC 300) It does not fit the older W204 C180 or C200 Kompressor (M271 engine, up to about 2013), the diesel CDI or BlueTEC models, or the M270 engine used in the A-Class, B-Class, CLA and GLA. Your engine code is on your logbook, or send us your VIN on WhatsApp and we'll check it for you. Have a mechanic fit it, with the engine cold. The fuel system must be depressurised before the old hose comes off, and nobody should smoke or use an open flame nearby. After fitting, start the engine and check both ends of the hose for leaks. Part numbers: A2740703500, 2740703500, A 274 070 35 00. Type: fuel feed hose to high-pressure fuel pump, M274 petrol engine. Urban Auto Spares delivers within Nairobi and across Kenya.
